Jameson Stobbe is a student, actor, singer, combatant, and musician. As an actor, he’s appeared in Ragtime (Younger Brother) and Rock of Ages (Franz) at the Athens Theatre as well as Bright Star (Billy Cane) at Theatre UCF (in which he was nominated for Best Featured Actor in a musical by the Orlando Sentinel). As a singer, he’s appeared in The Songs of Inspiration Concert through Theatre UCF at The Orlando Shakes. As an advanced actor combatant, he’s had both basic and recommended passes in a total of 8 different weapon disciplines from the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) - 7 recommended passes and 1 basic pass to be exact (SAFD profile). An experienced pianist, he helped assistant music direct Working in Theatre UCF’s 2022-2023 season. Jameson recently graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Florida (Class of ‘24). Enrolled in the Burnett Honors College there as well, Jameson dedicates himself wholeheartedly to both his academic and career-driven endeavors. He started his senior year off at Theatre UCF fight directing Chicken & Biscuits as well as starring in and working on Peter and the Starcatcher (Lord Aster, Fight Captain, Co-Fight Director/Intimacy Coordinator). He finished the season out at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. As apart of UCF Celebrates the Arts 2024, he performed in his musical theatre senior showcase: Knight to Shine in the Steinmetz Hall (performing songs from shows such as Anastasia, Spring Awakening, and Company). After graduating…

Jameson spent the year at Florida Rep as one of their ‘24-’25 Professional Acting Interns!

From fight directing their touring production of Hamlet to appearing on their mainstage in Agatha Christie’s The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, Jameson had the pleasure of sharpening a variety of theatrical skills during his stay.

And since then!

Immediately After finishing his contract at the Florida Repertory Theatre, he started rehearsals for Theater West End’s production of Rock of Ages as well as Winter Park Playhouse’s 2025 Florida Festival of New Musicals. He went on to reappear on the Orlando Shakes stage in Winter Park Playhouse’s production of Forever Plaid September 26th - October 19th (Learn more here). Following that he starred in Spotlight Center’s production of She Loves Me that ran in Fleming Island, FL from November 7th-22nd (more info here.)

Whether it’s swimming at the beach, lifeguarding, or watching Moana, Jameson loves the water. He also loves listening to and sharing music; his favorite artist of all time is Lorde. He’s also a licensed driver, has a valid passport, and hopes his thrill-seeking nature guides him to new, exotic places.
